If cost of repairs of your washing machine is $100-$300 we recommend to go with this option. The appliance has a lot of potential, it is fairly new in features and that is why your risk is very small.

If the repairs costs are over $500 - it is time to buy new washing machine, sorry it is just your bad luck..

When washing machine is 6-8 years old

In this case your smart customer decision will depend on your funds. If you can afford it - buy a new washing machine. You will not only eliminate a risk of keeping an old hardware, but will also enjoy new features that inevitably your unit should have!

If the costs of repairs are over $300 - you should not even think about it. It is time to replace your washing machine.

Only low income customers might want to continue using this old unit. Your risk is high, however it might be practically impossible to find $800-$2000. Accept this gracefully and live in piece with yourself. You still have a chance that your washing machine will work another 2-5 years.
